I got my new front panel, but as I though might happen, they sent me a silver one, and I have a black case. Oh well, I guess I'll just send them another e-mail. Despite the wrong color, the door works great.

A new power supply

I have a 50 dollar store credit to www.heatsinkfactory.com but I don't need any heatsinks, so I think I am going to replace my Antec true power 2.0. I can't decide between the Seasonic s12 430 and the 500 watt.

Is 430 watts enough for this? or should i go for the 500

I have left my old video card in the copmuter and the random rebooting seems to have stopped. Is it possible that i messed up the memory while I was installing the accelero x1 cooler or is the card just defective?

There isn't a blue screen. It just turns off. Thanks. I'll try some of that later when I don't have so much work.

Well when it sends the error report after the computer starts back up again, it says it doesn't know whats causing it, but it might be the PSU, the CPU, the motherboard, or the ram.

VGA card problems

My system has been crashing recently. It usually crashes once or twice a day. It all started happening when i used a thermalright hr-01 cooler, but the motherboard components were getting too hot. I switched to an SI-120 with a nexus fan and that dropped my temps about 15 degrees. I don't think this...

Arctic Cooling is making a passive cooler for the 7900gt that should be out in June, so I would go with a 7900gt since it will be much easier to cool it passively.

Backing up 3 hard drives

I have 3 computers in my house and I woud like to back them up with an external hard drive. Are the seagate pushbutton drives and the maxtor one touch drives able to back up more than one computer.

Also, would it be possible to put a drive on my network that would back up all of the hard drives?

I haven't tried it without the shroud, but it looks lke you should be fit the card in the slot, although i'm not 100% sure. I don't have a card to test it out with. EDIT: Here is a picture, but it the angle might be a little misleading, but maybe not. http://x402.putfile.com/4/10621111590-thumb.jpg

You could use an Arctic Cooling Accelero X1. It works with SLI. I have one running on onmy eVGA 7800gt. It's .4 sone and the silencer is .9 sone so it should be quieter. My only concern is that it blows the hot air onto the motherboard. http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga2.php?idx=91 The Accelero X1 i...

Zalman hp-80d on 7800gt?

Would the zalman hp-80d be able to cool my eVGA 7800gt card? My guitar teacher decided to get one for his card, but then decided to just replace the card entirely, and he offered to give the zm80d to me. I currently have the accelero x1 on it, and I'd like it to be a little quiter. I remember readin...

The installation guide is on the thermalright website. It uses pushpins, or you can use some kind of clip.

Actually I did put Arctic Silver 5 on the NB; I forgot to mention it in the article. Or is that even possible? ...

I run my computer without the side panel too. When the side panel is on, the motherboard temperature gets so hot that the cpu fan on my pentium D 830 spins too fast and it gets too noisy.
