Thanks a lot for doing this. Very enlightening and must have been a lot of work. What are the benefits that this setup would offer over a similar AMD package, using, say, a Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H with a low-power (maybe even Brisbane) CPU? Comparing reviews, the power usage seems pretty similar. ...

Nice review, and I concur with almost everything that was stated. However, having owned this board since the 2nd week of introduction, I have had a few weeks worth of soak time on it and found some issues: - 0404 BIOS and lower can cause system lockups during hard / soft poweron/reboots if the IGP (...

One thing not mentioned on review that needs to be added: 24p support. For those folks with nice sets that can support 5:5 pulldown, this is a must. Judder from 2:3 cadence especially on pans is really annoying once you know what you're looking for. Having the ability to do proper 24p playback with ...

Re: Cool N Quiet Issue. Please help.

I've recently moved into the dual core realm with an Athlon X2 BE-2400 and Foxconn A7GM-S motherboard. The issue I have is that the processor doesn't seem to throttle down when my system is idle. However, when I go into my system power settings to make sure it's operating under the "Minimal Power M...

This is Silent PC Review and the OP is talking about fanless systems. The first reply addresses this but the rest does not. A system with three TriCool fans is not a fanless system; it's not even a quiet system by SPCR standards. Many people here have systems with just one or two very quiet fans. Y...

I don't know if it's 75 W from the wall or from the PSU. It's impossible to tell from the article. But I agree with you. His system would probably draw 50-60 Watt from the PSU.
