Can't get Slim Drive to open and shut in SGO6 mini itx case
Hi, I am on my second try to install Sony Optiarc Slim Sata Drive model number AD-7590S. Per case instructions I secured optical drive at four corners two toward back of case and two toward the front of case. Drive pops open about 3/4ths of an inch instead of all the way and can't close on its own. ...

Michael, Will you be able to fit a HD 4770 or other 8 inch full height card? Is a mod of the pci-e slot from half height to full something you would want to do? Could you fit longer card with one of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=350204890281#shId...

Recommended mini power supplies and adaptors?
Anyone have a list put together of what goes best with what? I just bought a PicoPSU-150-XT for my first mini-itx build. I bought this psu and a 150W AC-DC adaptor from http://www.short-circuit.com/ I noticed mini-box only had adaptors up to its 102 W to go with it, but I didn't want to worry about ...

Did your heatsink clear the back of your optical drive?
That is a good sized heatsink you were considering putting in the case. From reviews it might do the job and keep things cool but some kind of breeze would be needed. I am preparing for a mini itx build right now and even though some here don't like the lian li case.. by using standard components an...

Since OCZ introduced them they are cheaper with rebates than similarly powerful psus from antec, corsair, enermax, and seasonic. Thanks, I will give it a try
I downloaded nero drive speed and will check it out.
Agree speed dvd's sold at not needed for most things and it does make them LOUD. Why does Windows have to spin up or down DVD drive.. seems if it is empty this happens much less than when full.

My biggest problem is can't go over 400 mm or so deep..
Looks like the TF would just barely fit, see it is $220 at Dell.
Please keep suggestions going.. my budget is about $150 tops, but if I can't find something else.. I will keep the TF in mind.

I agree with Neil
If I had your set up.. i would just clear out all I could front and back and let the Nexus do its thing.
That means cut out the fan grill behind the Nexus
That means remove the fan mounts for the 2 92 mm fans up front.. and..
see what temps you get just by doing this..and go from there.

Nope
If you can't shorten it about 6-7 mm it won't fit. From top of Motherboard to tip top of case is about 120 mm and it is best to leave a little space to spare imo.
The Scythe Ninja Mini fits ok. Just limit height to under 120 mm and you should be ok.

measuring from the top of the slots.. 13- 14 mm to the top. from top of motherboard you have about 120 mm to the top. hope this helps..
