Akasa Galileo thought

Been thinking that the akasa Galileo would make a pretty decent htpc given the number thin mini itx boards and 35w CPUs. I saw on a picture that the case only makes use of two of the four heatpipes on the CPU block. http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2013/08/akasa-galileo-review/galileo-7-128...

The SATA standard also specifies a power connector sharply differing from the four-pin Molex connector used by PATA drives and many other computer components. Like the data cable, it is wafer-based, but its wider 15-pin shape should prevent confusion between the two. The power connector is known to...

i would say no.. look at the power cable of a sata plug. i havent got one handy with me, but i remember seeing the gold fingers being staggered, which to my knowledge, would mean that ??v are sent to this part first, and then ??v to the rest of the hdd, hence why nici has connected and disconnected ...

i work in a computer store, and i have noticed that the fans on many "sparkle" branded gfx's are fine when new, but give it time, they tend to get easily clogged with dust and causes the card to fail. other brands however, asus, shappire etc, they seem to be fine :s

cheers for that, that foam on the drive trays seems like the easiest method to drop the noise from the hhds. i've looked around in the back shed, and i;ve got two materials that i could possibly use 1) Single sided foam tape (about 1 or 2 mm thick, quiet soft, would require about 2/3 layers to get o...
