Pricing
All, I just want to make sure that everybody understands that the price that I've listed is MSRP, and a conservative guess at that. Street price is completely different. This system can do far less than a $200 P3. No PCI slots, only room for one HD etc. It's only built do what it does, very well and...

some answers
Wow, thanks for all the questions guys. It really helps me learn more about the products. I do not believe that there are any spare PATA/SATA connectors. Price, I would guess that this will have a MSRP of about $1700. Keep in mind that I work in a world where the IBM POS Station that you see at Kmar...

Silent Industrial PC. What would YOU use this for?
My company will be bringing this pc to market soon (Spring 07) Just wanted to get some feedback of what people think. It's designed as an industrial PC. I do not have any information in regards to price yet, but these will be mass produced. I'd really like to hear any ideas for what silent PC enthus...

I completely agree with placing the HD's in front of the intake fan. Question that I have for the group is; is there any reason that you couldn't turn the exaust fan around, and aim it at the Ninja? Or has anybody done a shroud from the CPU cooler to the exaust fan? How quiet are the HD's running? A...

update
BTW, I've since removed the two 60mm fans from the case. So now I'm down to two 92's. The mobo has the CPU fan running at 40%, and I've turned the fanmate down pretty close to as low as it will go (just under where I could hear the fan with my ear next to the PSU vent). Running CPU Burn X2 I've got ...

Aflred. Good point. However, I'm thinking of a couple of other uses. Could I use this material to line the sides (contact areas) to my 3.5" hard disk cage, in order to decouple it, while still transferring heat to the cage. Also, could I line a heavy aluminum box with it, and rely on the aluminum to...

Sheet-type thermal-conductive gel, Opinions...
I’d like to get the groups opinion on sheet-type thermal-conductive gel. I found this product by AGel. This is a Japanese product and they do not have any resellers in the US. Doing some reading I see that others have found similar products by 3M and that Scythe is using this gel in its drive encl...

Just over a year ago, my company picked up this line. We sell Retail Technology solutions (technology for retailers), mostly Microsoft solutions. Yes, not cheap, with OS and 40 gig HD about $2,700. Built, primarily for Retail and Restaurant (dirty) environments. DC converter = 62 watts I think that ...

Thanks for the info. guys. After seeing how many people do HD suspension, I'm re-thinking my HD enclosure. Would suspending the drives make them more quiet than my exisitng enclosure? I could easily suspend the drives where the stock PSU went, and turn the 92mm case fan toward them. How hot should h...

Silent Aluminum Point Of Service Terminal
Here's a POS Terminal that found. The entire case is cast aluminum. The computer is very heavy. It uses an ELO 15" touch display. The processor is an Intel 650 Mhz M. It uses either a CF card or 40gig Noteboo HD. It has dual monitor support (touch screen plus one more). The Mobo is double sided with...

Same scenario (PW200M with a Delta 220W Power Brick) I've made an adapter for the 8 pin molex connector on the PB. Hmmm. Nothing plugged into either of the PCI-E slots. I did try to power the system with the 20 pin connector plugged into the mobo. When I pushed the power button, the CPU Cooler fan kicks, but does not spin all the way up. I then unplugged both hard disks (minimum bootable configuration). System s...

Minibox PW200M and a 24 PIN ATX Mobo Connector, Am I hosed?
I ordered the PW200M and planned to use it with a Delta 220 Watt Power Brick. I'm using a Asus N4L-VM Core Duo Mobo. Mobo has a 24 pin ATX connector, and the Minibox PSU has a 20. Any way to get this to work? I'm using an Ahanix MCE-601 Case. The stock PSU is proprietary, and too loud. Thanks for an...

Interesting Fan Data link for 80 and 92mm fans
http://terasan.info/siryou/fan/
Supposed fan data sheets. Sort of hard to use as these are all at different fan speeds, air flows etc. But an interesting read non the less.
Will be interested in what others think.
