So you plugged in a ps2 keyboard while the computer was running? That's a no-no. Sounds like you trashed the MB. A USB keyboard can be plugged in like that....not a ps2. :( I've plugged in PS2 peripherals on the fly, never had any problems like that, apart from that the computer doesn't recognise t...

Sucralose = Sucrose + "al". So it IS made from sugar!!!! I think the sugar industry are more upset because of the common meaning of sugar, you can make sugars in a laboratory. I'll stand aside for Max though, as he actually sound like he knows what he's talking about. I re-read that before I posted...

Just a question... I remember the Splenda commercials from a while back. They said that it isn't sugar, but it tastes like sugar because it's made from sugar...WTF? What's it made out of? Yeah the sugar industry isn't so happy about that. http://www.truthaboutsplenda.com/ (FUD warning) Basically it...

The device being talked about would be tiny, and intergrated into the silicon of the chip itself. High voltage wouldn't be needed due to the small size, so also the ozone creation would also be of a very small amount. Then again if every chip produced was using the effect, it could conceivably have ...

"I know the passive mother board cooler and cpu cooler are making contact since they become too hot to touch at full load."

Pretty sure they shouldn't be touching. What orientation do you have the Xp-120?

Passively cooled discrete graphics with, a less powerful motherboard might be an idea. Does the motherboard have active cooling?

I'm sure some would have said at one point, AMD viral marketers probably, but it's not a fair test. AMD and intel chips have diverged so much, total system power is the best bet.

No wait someone already did.

One thing to point out, there's only one removable ROM on the video card. The other two are addition ram chips. I had one, but could never afford the addition memory, all 1MB of it.

If you had four heat pipes couldn't you run two pairs to two seperate heatsinks? :?

If you had a large case with two 120MM fan mounts at the back, you could mod the heatsinks to the exhaust fans. Dumping the heat directly out of the case.
