The problem is that you're using the stock e6600 HSF. If you want a quieter PC that simply has to be replaced with something better.

Judging from those pics, I may avoid the Epox board as the memory slots are right up against the retention bracket and I'm pretty certain the heatpipes on the XFire will interfere with them.
