Yes it does. Just yesterday I installed a Athlon II x4 620 and a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 on a mATX board (which is a AM2+ board)
Ah, and I also use the Antec mini p180. The HDT-S1283 fits fine.

Sorry for the bump, but I really need to know before I buy an LC-04 - which should I get for the quietest PSU, the 240W or the 300W? Well I tried both, the 300 Watt psu originally delivered with my LC11 case and a replacment 240W. The 300W was extremly noisy, unbearable, really. When I tried to rep...

Ok, now, I've read the sticky. I even found out what a hole saw is :-) ! That seems the easiest, but probably most expensive way to make a hole. There is still something not clear to me, which I couldn't find in the sticky: How would you create the small holes for the screws to hold the fan? Would y...

Tools needed to cut additional/bigger fan hole?
Hi all, I've got the Lian Li PC-6070 case, and I'm quite happy with it. I'm using low speed fans and I've just recently decoupled the HDDs. So it's pretty quiet, at least for my needs (overclocked gaming, developing machine). Since I decoupled the HDDs, the temps have gone up both for the drives and...

Hi naskha, thanks for the tip! That PSU seems to fit perfect in your case! Can you tell me what the dimensions are and what type/brand of PSU this is? I've found a dealer here in Switzerland that specialises in industrial and server PSUs. Right now, I'm waiting for the original replacement from Silv...

That seems quite hot in my opinion. I have a X2 4200+ overclocked to 2.55GHz / 1.45 volt with CnQ enabled I get idle temps of around 33 C and under full load maybe 52. I'm using a Thermalright XP 120 CPU cooler, with the fan running at 1000rpm blowing UP to blow on the heat pipe of my Asus EN7800GT ...

I just started reading the article about power consumption here on SPCR (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article265-page1.html) But maybe you can give me an educated guess, I have the following components: DFI RS482 Infinity Athlon64 3500 undervolted at 1.2 vcore 2 x 512 MB Ram, DDR333 2 x undervolted...

I have a general question about these PSUs either the picoPSU or the PW-200M / V How would I feed the 24- and 4- PIN ATX connector on my motherboard? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I really don't know much about PSUs and electricity in general. I've got this mb: DFI RS482 Infinity And a Sil...

Check my post on my experience with the 300watt LC11 PSU, which is the same as the one in the LC04: http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35365 and http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35489 I was thinking about these alternatives: a Shuttle SilentX PSU (but its not to...

I have just recently bought the LC11, which is quite similar to your LC04. I've had the same issues with PSU noise. I did replace the 40mm fan with a 3000 rpm version and I replaced the 80mm fan and put a new one on the outside of the PSU case. Unfortunately, in the process I destroyed the PSU, alth...

I actually already did what you suggested: I put a 80x25mm fan on the outside of the PSU. However, my TV card got quite bent because the PCI slots of my MB are too close to the PSU. The MB is not the best solution for this case, because it has a PCI-E x1 slot and the riser card expects a PCI slot in...

Thanks for your info, I've contacted Silvertek Europe to check out what my options are for replacing the PSU. I think 240Watt should be enough for my system. I've found a picture of the LC04 power supply and from the look I don't think this will fit into the LC11 (which has a slim design).

Replacement PSU for Silverstone LC11
Hi all, I've been reading this site for quite a while now and I think it is THE BEST site about silent computing on the internet! Well, this is my first post on the forums and I hope someone can help me with my problem. I purchased the Silverstone LC11 case. I changed the fans in the PSU, but someho...
