How about this from ECS?

http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=10484

Teaming up with experts Arctic Cooling, ECS's GeForce 8800 GT has the giant Accelero S1 strapped on to the 65nm core.

I take it that wont fit in my NSK2400 ??

UPDATE Bought a Leadtek 7600GT AGP card and lo and behold it works perfectly. Didnt have to take anything out. Conclusion: Even a 4/5 year old 300W PSU can run the latest generation graphics cards. BTW the fan on this particular card is very quiet. Says <30db on the box but can barely hear it above ...

Ok thanks sounds kinda hopeful. Guess the only way to find out for sure is to buy one and see if it works. Maybe I'll take out the dvd/floppy/soundcard first before trying.

My main concern is still the lowly 13A on the 12V rail. I'm sure most of the 300W PSUs in the other thread are 18A+.

Nope- As far as i am aware there is only the 20 pin ATX12V connector. It's an Asus A7V8X-X. What difference would this make?

Will my 300W PSU cope with this??

Hi first post, help required. I'm trying to extend the life of my AGP based pc for another year or two by upgrading the graphics card. The psu is a 300W QTechnology 01300. Specs: 70% efficiency, PFC 0,96 but only 13A capability on the 12V rail. It's fairly old but nice and quiet. Will I be able to r...
