why buy the 7700,if it is outdated ?

ninja, 9500, xp120,9700, mine , infinity , tuniq tower are the best heatsinks, and ninja is a decent price.

well, I assumed lapping the heatsink perfectly flat would fix any contact issues,and I didn't remount the heat sink after lapping it, and when I Did it now, I noticed that its not the heatsink, but the ihs that is convex. yea pc wizzzard reports about 10c under everest, when what should I try keep temps at(idle/load)?

EDIT: WTF? (idle)
Processor Temperature : 32 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 1) : 57 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 2) : 56 °C
any ideas?

Thanks for all the help.
How much better this would be then the p150's suspention system. I got the O-rings so it's too risky to use full time, but I could test it to see how quiet it is compared to the standard mounting useing the silicone garments.

How good are these enclosures with idle noise, I have a 7200.10 and a 7200.8 and the idle noise is annoying as ****, I’m hoping to not have to buy a new hd.
