WD HDD 2TB to launch this week

They look like rebanded Scythe S-flex's if you look close. They use also the Fluid Dynamic Bearing Technology. I was under the impression that Scythe S-flex's where made by sony . I am running my 4850e (for now, while performing various testing) @3GHz...Heatsink is a Scythe Ninja 2 with Arctic Ceramique applied... Although the Slipstream fan supplied runs @ 1050rpm, idle temp is 32C (25C ambient) and during stress (Everest Stability Test) it reaches 48C... I thing that temps ...

WD's GP are about 215€ and both the Samsung and the Seagate are 160€... nick 705 , the truth is that i hadn't thought of that solution...i was stuck to raid as ulitmate security :D ...I guess it's a better idea that way... ...though i wonder, since you mentioned it, in raid-1, discs cannot be us...
