OMG those temps are SOOOO low!!!!! Seems almost impossible even with EIST enabled! Mine go as low as 28C on a very cool day (idle with EIST), E6420 @ 2,67 GHz. Those temps are obviously off, by 15 degrees if you ask me. What is the stepping of that E6750? I guess it actually has a Tjunction of 100,...

well, when I boot I'm told my ram is running dual channel, so I assume it's working. It's also the slots the manual told me to put it in, so there ya go. My temps in speedfan are 31c (core1) and 29c (core2), with an ambient of 27c. My hard drives are all running cool enough at 32 and 37c. Under load...

my quiet E4300 rig
Thanks to all you guys, I finally have a PC that's quiet enough that I can listen to my headphones late at night without getting bugged by it. Case is a Thermaltake Tsunami with 1 coolermaster 120mm fan in the back, and 1 Yate Loon 120mm fan in the front, both soft mounted. I also modded my Zalman 9...

I really hated this case when I had it. I tried very hard to silence it, but the hdd vibration was just too much. I am glad you are happy with it. It has plenty of room for wire management and great airflow. Great looking case as well. I got the Antec Solo and will never look back. Total silence th...

Tt Tsunami -decently quiet E4300
After browsing here quite a bit I decided to finally mod my Tsunami to make it a bit quieter. So, during system downtime while I upgraded from an Athlon 64 to a core2duo, I decided to chop some stuff up. :) What I did was just the basic stuff, cut out the fan grills and mount all the fans on isolati...

My new intel build has essentially the same specs / power draw as yours. I went with the Seasonic S12 430, it should be enough. Especially since the E4300 probably draws far less than 65 watts, seeing as the C2D Extreme is in the same 65W family. edit, I just tried that PSU calculator and it says I'...

I absolutely hate Thermaltake cases. I am glad I sold my Tsunami. That thing vibrates like no tomorrow. Cheaply made as well. Nice speakers btw. loudest thing in my Tsunami is definitely my Zalman 9500 running at 60% speed, I don't have any problems with vibration. Right now, sitting 1.5 feet away ...

Gotta ask where you got that fan controller and how much was it. If it actually fits inside the front door of the Tt Tsunami than I want one, its really hard finding a controller to fit inside the door. Sick looking case, I still need to dremel out the restrictive fan grills on my Tsunami. That'd me...
