I'm curious about how loud it gets when the fan does start. My current psu is silent enough up to about 250w powerdraw from the wall then it ramps up quickly. I have my 7950 undervolted to be able to stay under that limit. Looking into the future it doesn't exactly look like graphics cards will draw...

zoob's way of mounting is definitely easier than the default way. Remounting the cooler did improve performance about 4c. And if one screws down the nuts so the bolt gets just up the top of the it's easy to tighten them all the same amount

From a little quick looking around max temperatures for mosfets are from 70 to 225c so not helpful at all...
