Re: Journey to a Silent MicroATX Gamer

With the new m-itxhttp://www.guru3d.com/news-story/gigaby ... -card.html graphics cards now available. Do you think making a specific m-itxhttp://imgur.com/bqJ4cpG made air 240, would be better cooled option?

Fan controller on the back....................Really? (facepalm)

Hey Antic, ever wondered why people who manufacture fan controllers, always seem to design them for the FRONT of the case?

Psiu / Nick705 Thanks for your time & the links you supplied. So I did buy the wrong card then! Can't help feeling it was partly due to Scan though advertising it as "RF/in" (otherwise I wouldn't have bought it). I also find the staff helpful in the store but the amount of times I've had to return t...

Assist me with TV Tuner woes

Just picked up a Videomate S350 TV Tuner card from Scan uk. The Description: http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=683707 say it has an "RF/Ariel in" connector. Now for the life of me, I can't see a RF connector on the back of it. It has only two of the (screwed type) coax cable connectors...

You can get DVI & HDMI with Gigabyte’s G33-S2H so just wait and see what they release for G35.
But it's PCI-E x16 slot is apparently only x4, & not x16 optimized!

Re: 2 92mm to single 120mm on front of P150/SOLO/D500?

Has anyone ever modded the front swinging door on the front of the P150/SOLO/Designer 500 to hold a single 120mm fan rather than the 2 92mm fans? Yes it has been done, trying to find the thread for you now. I'm with you on this one. The one difference I think Antec should have made to the new Solo/...

Care to explain why you wouldn't buy a Solo again?
Been thinking of getting one of these for a while now.

Would really appreciate your comments.

I've used the NSK 4400 - I think its the same as 4480 and comes with 430W antec psu. Its not as quiet as my current solo - its thinner metal and has a side openning (maybe a plus if you want a hot video card). Also the grill slots on the side of the front panel seem more restrictive than the SOLO o...

They use the VGA connection because real DVI support requires an SVDO chip to work - an extra expense that MB companies, for some reason, don't want to foot. I have a G33 system and I bought a Silicon Image ADD2-N "X8760" ADD2 card on ebay . Thanks for the explanation! I.m sure it wouldn't cost the...

G35 let down

I like my integrated graphics on my motherboards, don't ask me why, I just do! So with great anticipation, I'm looking froward to the new G35 chipset models. (by the way does anybody know when there due out?) But little things niggle me, like! why the hell do they still use D-Sub instead of DVI? DVI...
