I like it. Size does matter and it beats unwanted features such as arrow shapped restrictive fan exhaust. I would like to see the official report on SPCR soon 8) Especially the top fan, how noisy it gets at minimum speed. I would like to keep things silent, and don't really see which fan to switch i...

I meant that such threat as a random bomb now and then, which was ALWAYS present (how isn't bowling for Columbine anounced as a terrorism-Oh yea.... the muslims didn't do it), would never have turned into a global terrorism fear that caused people to bluntly jump into a war against countries that ar...

He decided, he didn't need power supply, that offers more than 120watts. Zens are really great looking at performance/ price ratio, but I prefer PSUs that have FAN which is really quiet and at low consumptions inaudible, such as seasonic new series, or corsair. My opinion is that to have fan at 500r...

They way I see it is that if you have an e4300 M0 revision it consumes less power. However, the motherboards that supports intel procesor consumes more electricity, because of the NB aditional memory controler. If you want to have low power consumption computer that won't run games or power hungry p...

I for one think it's a great idea. Given time, when enough data is gathered, it will be very useful information to people who are putting together new machines. I will post my results soon, but am unABLE to do so at the moment. There is one more thing you should take into consider. Case fans. When I...

nope, but not really that far, im from Slovakia Wink I suddenly got flashbakcs of how I already received that answer two times before. You wouldn't hsppened to be playing Counterstrike on german servers? It seems it really is a mistake, since I don't recollect ever hearing of DDR modules being sold...

PC-5300 DDR mem, non existent It's true, since many shop owners sometimes tend to just write it down wrong. Here is a perfect example. Apple DDR ram being sold as DDR PC-5300, which would mean non-DDR2 modules. However, if you look closely on the picture of RAM itself, you can see that it's actuall...

It's like Fayd said. PC-5300 stands for DDR modules, while PC2-5300 stands for DDR2 modules, which should fit you. I also use HP, nc8430, properly tweaked to consume as less power as posible, while maintaining original speed and have already upgraded memory to 2 GB with A-DATA PC2-5300. I'm just cur...

Qmicra V2 looks really efficient at cooling, but I'm not really in a cube looking cases. I prefer them thin, built on a classical design. I can't wait fot Antec mini P182 to come out in october. Bios Vcore value is the precise one, or at least in most cases (some motherboards have that all messed up). I have the same situation. My e4500 is run at 1,2V, whereas cpu-z reports really confusing voltages. It's probably because cpu-z hasn't had data written for newer procesor yet. Power consumpti...

I measured power consumption with Voltcraft Energy Check 3000. Connected are the following devices: Seasonic S12-600w G33M-DS2R, onboard graphics E4500 2.2Ghz, rev. M0 (supposebly only 8 watts in C1E mode); downvolted to 1,1V 2x1 GB Geil Ultra DDR2 800Mhz NEC DVDrom Samsung HD501LJ, 500GB disk Zalma...

I am the owner of the Gigabyte G33M-DS2R motherboard and I can't say a single bad thing about it. With onboard graphics turned on with my E4500 rev. M0, the total sistem power consumption in IDLE is at 57 watts. In bios you can overvolt or undervolt anything from FSB, Vcore to MEM (1,8v-2,2v) and FS...
