SOLD - 3x Scythe S-Flex D 800rpm, 1x Stock Scythe fan, $15

http://i.imgur.com/b4ALt.jpg You can read SPCR's review of the S-Flex fans and the stock Scythe fan The Ninja-Plus fan is the Scythe model 62027, AD1212DS-A73GL(6TCL3). At 1028RPM, it is exactly as loud and sounds exactly the same as the Scythe S-Flex E. A comparison from a (once?) well known board...

3x S-Flex D, 1x S-Flex E, 1x Infinity stock fan

Hello, as the title says, I have five fans for sale. I've had the S-Flex(s) for close to three years now. They have served me well and I have no complaints. I'm only selling because I'm parting out my rig. I have three 800rpm models (D) and one 1200rpm model (E). $6.50 shipped each I also have the s...

Sorry to bump an old topic. I got busy. That said, I'm still not sold on one fan yet. Everything I read says that I should get some Gentle Typhoons. But I don't want to spend that much unless I really have to. So my ultra cheap option is to get some Yate Loon Mediums. I may be being a cheapscape her...

The f12s are good. An equivalent would be the Akasa Apache with the PWM splitter. They are probably a bit more expensive than the f12s. But I think you will find they have a bit more of the upper end punch you are looking for. Definitely more than your sflexes. Instead of placing one big bet on the...

I'd like to place an order before Monday. Thanks.

Which fan meets these requirements?

Ok. I need some fans for my system. First, I need four fans. They will all be mounted on a radiator. Onre radiator is a Swiftech MCR320 and the other is a Black Ice Stealth 120. The fans on the Swiftech rad will be horizontal. Right now, I have three 800rpm S-Flex fans on the Swiftech rad and a 1200...

Great review! I've been wondering about this since I saw it in Pine Trail's chipset diagram. IMO, this is a major move made by Intel. 1) This allows Atom to play HD content. One of the biggest cons to an Atom computer is its inability to play HD content. With this, now any Atom machine, whether it b...

I've done the exact same thing, but with worse results.  I replaced the stock cooler of my X1950 Pro with a Accellero X2. I forgot to plug in the fan and learned the hard way that an Accellero X2 can't cool a X1950 Pro passively. Your card still works. It could have been much worse. :D

Maybe. But the 500GB Caviar Black now uses a single platter. But its only the WD5001AALS-00L3B2 variant.

Generally, I've found that stock heatsinks on NB's do the job fairly well. Not to say that they run cool, just that NB chips generally have pretty high thermal tolerances. But I understand your desire to have a cooler running system. Undervolting the NB is probably a good idea. Since your CPU is at ...
