No. I was planning on returning it to Newegg...

Part of me says "return it to Antec" though, because then their engineers can look at it and see what is up....

I'm pissed; I have to eat return shipping + CA sales tax + 15% restocking fee. maybe try and sell it on Ebay instead? Yeah, by the time I deal with seller's fees, and all the hassle, not worth it. I'm tempted to return it directly to Antec to see if they can give me a better one... But I bet that w...

I just bought one and the fan is loud, loud, loud. I won't say louder then the rest of my system (3 TriCools on Low, an HX520, and an 8800GT in a P182b) but the noise *character* is extremely annoying, it reminds me of a sleeve bearing fan right before it dies. Back to Newegg it goes. I'm pissed; I ...

Awww look our cases are twins! I may have to borrow your ducting strategy. Just switched to a bottom-intake PSU so I haven't had time to rework the airflow yet. That looks like it would work best. Since my 6800GT + ND-1 + sketchy custom duct does direct exhaust out the back of the case (and t...

Oh how much I have learned since then...

I have like 20 of the ugly-ass tiles left if anyone wants some ;)

65nm X2-3600, Asus M2NPV-VM undervolted using RMClock for FID/VID selection, power consumption comes to:

S3 Sleep (took some effort to get that working) - 2W (may be high reading)
Idle - 1.0 GHz/0.800V - 50W
Full CPU + Graphics Load - 1.9GHz/0.950 V - 75-80W

If you use a HSF with a 4-wire fan for PWM control and turn on the Asus Q-Fan feature, it will keep it nice and quiet. I used the stock AMD HSF in my NSK3300 build for family (trying to keep costs down) with a 65nm X2-3600+ and it was reasonably quiet. I also used RMClock for frequency/voltage trans...

My old 89W X2-4200 is idling away happily at 33C with a Ninja Rev B right now. I got the best temps with the 'put a dot of AS5 in the center of the IHS, press down, and wiggle' method. A lot of C2Ds have concave IHSes, which is why this is the recommended method for CPUs that have an IHS. Also, runn...

For high-pressure flows you can use a pitot tube, but a PC fan is nowhere near that point. I'm sure you could experiment with a l...
