140mm PWM?

I tried searching for this but to no avail.

Does anyone produce a PWM 140mm fan?

id like to get one that matches the new nexus 120mm pwm range (max 74cfm) but not as noisy as the YL or Aerocool/Sharkoon models (less than 30db).

My motherboard can only control via PWM.

Cheers for any finidngs!

I did it and splashed out on the Sharkoon Rebel 12 (along with a AMD 3850:D) It got the value edition with the fan as i learnt it has PWM control anyway- full speed is around 900rpm and its made by sharkoon-must be quiet(ISH)! The reason i went for the sharkoon over the hush was mostly down to fan m...

Hey guys. i STILL havent been brave enough to lash out for a case.. So far my favourite has to be this case from Sharkoon: http://www.sharkoon.com/html/produkte/pc_gehaeuse/rebel12_eco/index_en.html There is also a value range, which has a 250mm fan installed on the side and an extra 120mm. I think ...

Thanks Guys, I think its funny that some people support there case brands like a football team(as such). I already noted that i have an Antec case (the Man UTD of cases)and i purchased it for a good reason, my question also does not relate to why i dont want Antec as i have already specified that. A...

Caring about how your pc looks depends on how visible your pc is.

When a pc is in the living room it becomes part of your furniture and your amp, tv etc.

This is why it is important that it ATLEAST looks decent.

Firstly, thanks for all your replies. I am so tempted to lash out for the P182SE but i just dont think its worth it. What would/do you guys do to a normal case to make it silent? For instance, the CM690..would it would be quiet with some padding and new fans? (ie dont mind about HDD suspension as i ...

Hi Guys, before i upset you all, i would just like to mention that i own a Antec Solo and i am very happy with it.(this is for a different pc) I recently sold my ANNOYING Thermaltake Mozart HTPC case as it was just driving me mad- poorly designed, loud, poor airflow and VERY annoying to take apart. ...

When I said to try reversing the CPU fan, I meant flipping it over so the fan sucked air up through the heatsink rather than blowing it down into the heatsink. Even if the case doesn't allow you to fit an extractor fan above, this alone could help reduce temps. Im not entirely sure if that would wo...

Yes, im not sure if you have the mozart also, but there is a long metal pane that has a whole in above the heatsink, it goes underneath the top cover of the case(where this is also a ventilation hole). Although i dont think your idea would work, the heatsink would get to hot with just an extracting ...

Ofcourse modding them just to 5v wont be a problem, however i wouldnt permantly mod my power cable, i would either get a volt switch(ive seem them in some stores) where you can click between 12,5 or even 7v, failing that just a standard pwm fan control unit-as they can be bought quite cheap, as i be...

I would reccomend the same as my case, the antec solo.
It comes without a psu and that is the only difference between this and a p150
I run a nexus real silent psu-it is very quiet when there is no load on it, however if you wanted to spend more, you could get completely quiet psu's.

I would buy just one stick of 1gb and not 2x 512 just for dual chanel increase, later on then ofcourse you can add another 1gb to get dual channel.
The p150 is a good choice, although i chose to go with the solo(the p150 without the psu) and buy a nexus psu.

Do you plan to oc your 6600?if so make sure you get some pc 6400 ram. There are a few coolers that may fit your case, with fans, but silent fans. Is it not worth going for 6400 ram and not 5400?Even if you dont want to overclock much it should allow you to lower the latency considerably to make it run faster at lower speeds. In a few months time maybe a release of the 8600 will be out-whether it will be passively cooled or not i doubt. It ofco...
