segate 7200.9, WD740ADFD raptor

I currently own a seagate 7200.9 250Gb, a noisy one indeed, and with no AAM no RMA possibility I´m a little fed up of that seek noises. Because idle noise is no really high. I´m planning to buy another HD and leave the seagate as a storage HD, while keeping in my new HD the operating system a main...

The main reason for that power sources is to operate them just lower than 50% of load where they show their maximun efficiency and a low noise. These models shows effienciy greater than 83% and all their operating range .I could go for the 520 range but I may add some components in the future and I ...

Computer buying new partes Cooling LOOWW noise

Hi I have a computer working well for some months but I want to take another step forward a lower noise configuration. Firstly I put the main components I currently have that I´m planning to change. My objective good cooling, no really looking for overclooking but real LOW noise. Case Tacens Audeo ...

Finally I buy the tacens gelus:
Good: CPU temperature 28º 30º C idle, low noise, even low while low rpm.
BAD: rpm control in the back difficult to access. No PWM control with the Mobo, only 3 pin conector, so 4th pin PWN FAN of my motherboard is useless.

Nocturna and Ninja are sure great coolers, but they should be with that price :P. But I think they are overprice and the tower form stress the mobo too much, it should include some extra stuff to fix the cooler to the case hehehe.

silent! CPU cooler

In a few words, I have a 6400 intel core duo, my objective minimum noise for the cpu coler, not much interested in overclocking. I have read many reviews and my cpu coolers options in a near hadware shop are: ThermalTake Golden Orb 2: Barely inaudible, but low performance. ThermalTake Blue Orb 2: Be...
