I have tried googling it, but a WPA guide is less available than a WEP guide. And getting though security does not have a huge website base, as say porn does. Hence why I was hoping that some one here was willing to share that knowledge. I never said what my purpose of obtaining this information is,...

Getting Past WPA

Does any one have a guide to get past WPA secured wireless networks? My hardware is as follows: Cisco 350 Series PCI PCMCIA with 7db omni antenna and XP Pro. I dont know my way around linux, so any guide in linux is going to have to explain every step. I would like to know what software, and what th...

The two articles that were linked to by the OP show stupid people getting caught. When you sit in a car outside a coffee shop or some one's home and use their internet, its going to attract attention which causes you to get caught. Yes it is illegal, but if you do it discreetly you don't ever have t...

Try that optical drive in a difference system, and also try a different drive in your system. You want to narrow down the piece of hardware causing the problem, either your sata ports or the optical drive. After that you can buy a new drive or see if its your mobo.

Is there an easy way to determine which direction a signal is coming from for the use of a directional antenna? Or do I just have to keep turning it until the signal is at its max? Currently I can connect to two different networks, with only two of the five bars for signal strength. I would like to ...

Wireless AP Card

I own a C2D system on the P5BD, with the wifi, but the onboard wifi adapter isnt the strongest. I then bought a used Cisco 350 series PCMCIA to PCI card. This card works well. I am now looking for a way to increase its range and signal strength, to connect to networks further away and pull the close...

How does one upgrade the north bridge on the P5B-D when it has the heat pipe and everything?

I have the P5B-D-wifi in a P180B and OCing my E6400 to 3.4, the NB gets a tad warm. And what aftermarket cooler would you stick on the NB? Would the SB get anything special?

One thing I have noticed about the HR03, is that the retailer pictures do no show the ram heat sinks are included. In all the reviews I see the ram heat sinks and thermal compound, but I don't see them on Newegg pictures or included items. I just want to verify that the heat sinks do in fact come wi...

I don't plan on putting a fan on the 7900gt. My main desire is to eliminate my GPU fan, which is the loudest source of noise in my case. Would the HR 03 fit on the Asus P5B-D with an Ultra 120? For this setup I would plan on not running a fan on the HR 03. Although I would probably run a 120mm fan on the Ultra 120 at a low RPM. Would all of this fit in in my case and mobo? Is there a better CPU cooler than the Ultra 120?

When I press F5 to refresh, the extra desktop icons remain on the explorer tree. The only way to get rid of it, is to close explorer and reopen explorer.

One my previous PC (AMD 3200+, Asus A7N8X) I had a fan controller for numerous 80mm fans. Right now I just use the stock Antec Tri-cool fans with the built in three levels, they are on low and I have no need to change them constantly.

Ive thought about that solution, but its not the optimal one.
