I have the Asus N4L-VM with a T2600 and the max fsb i can get is only 177Mhz  so 2300Mhz is the max. But i'm happy with this combo because at Idle(1Ghz) it only uses 38W and Stressed(2,16Ghz) only 62W  only problem is that you can't replace the cooler  Asus N4L-VM,T2600,2x1Gb MDT PC53...

I got a Asus N4L-VM DH,T2600,2x1GB,Samsung 500Gb and a Asus A45GA powersupply which isn't very efficient, idle around 100W(EIST 1Ghz/1V) so i'm searching for a new powersupply. The PicoPSU is no option because in my country it's very expensive(55€ without adapter) but maybe the new Seasonic S12 11 ...

Thanks ... the splice idea worked fine. I converted from an S12-380 to picoPSU today, and I'm pleased with the results. Idle dropped from 52 watts to 43 watts (AC kill-a-watt draw), just by this swap. Nice, this is with T7400/AOpen i945Gtm-VHL/GeForce 7300 GS/picoPSU-120/2GB DDR2-667/100 GB RAID-1 ?...

All the boards you mention are bad OC and under voltage in the bios is no option either, you can only change the fsb but you don't need to undervoltage because with Eist the mobo clocks the CPU automatically down. I have the Asus with a T2600 and it runs most of the time at 1Ghz@1V(6*166) and if nece...

The bios of the Asus N4L-VM DH is very limited, you can only adjust the fsb frequency and the ddr2 voltage  PCIe frequency is not available. Undervoltage goes automatic with EIST,my T2600 clocks down to 1Ghz@0,95V and i'm running Internet Explorer and Mixmeister Fusion with it :D not bad for a 1...

The Noctua cooler is finally in place. No whizzy little heatsink fan any more :D I'm now cooling my T7200 with a passive heatsink and the airflow from the two 120mm fans in the side of the case. I'll get some pics before long. Idle temps 23, load temp 55. difficult to tell the ambient temperature a...
