for my asus p5k deluxe, pwm < 60C is considered healthy. Furthermore, I believe PWM units are rated for temps up to around 105C so I would really think that 60C is nothing especially when you consider that even processors go upwards of 65C!

core temp should not cause system problems. Many experienced overclockers have used core temp to gauge temps for a long time now. Very nice to see that the quadcore can be undervolted and cooled passively at stock speeds. Have u always ran the seasonic with a 5V fan? Under full load, is the air exiting the PSU quite warm?

how about asus p5k vanilla? It will probably be the same price as the cheapest gigabyte board and should allow for more than "mild" overclocking! But I do like the suggestion of the abit board. I don't know much about it, but having complete fan control is a real good feature.

You can't wrap the hr-03 above the 8800GTS? If you do, it would probably only take one slot above and provide room for your fan as well.

no problem, I will buy the 8400GS and cross my fingers. I know it is capable of some games, so I can't see windows vista aero graphics being a problem for the card.

Bill, you should monitor core 0 and core 1 temps.

The CPU temps are not accurate.
