with well designed radiators the fins per an inch doesn't mean much because rad with low FPI would just be made thicker while a rad with a lot a FPI would be thin eithier way you would end up with same surface area. Something to consider is with a higher FPI your going to catch alot more dust unless...

6 screws hold it in place plus I also went around with a thin layer of clear caulking so I wouldn't call it hard but not that easy either. This is actually my first quiet PC and I have come to the conclusion that to get a silent watercooled pc your going to have to use a submerged pump or a weaker one

Sorry Felger, but I have to do this... NEVER buy any power tools from Harbor Freight. Their stuff is the cheapest of the cheap. I had that exact dremel and it lasted exactly 1 use before burning up. I was using to trim some aluminum 5.25" bay covers to stealth my optical drives on my old case. I've...

I think wood is a little forgiving if you make a mistake the mount i was talking about for fan I made it out of 1/4" lexan. fan is held to lexan with screws then the lexan is screwed into front of case using #6 machine screws and nuts the reason I had to do this is the part of the filter that attach...

another watercooled p180

I'm not finshed yet. I still want to replace my plastic block fittings with metal ones and get an wye fitting to replace T fitting. I'm going to be using airtrap instead reservoir. I also removed bottom hard drive cage and brackets including center fan bracket and made a mount to mount fan in bottom...

I have the 240 extreme and that likes either a powerful fans or quieter fans in a push pull setup but I got a 360 gt stealth and their suppose to be better with low cfm. they are thinner with more fins per inch. I wanted to have my radiator mounted in such a way that it expelled heat out of case so ...

res0r9lm, I have a Sonata 2 case and I'm quite happy with it. I'm surprised to hear you describe it as flimsy; I think it's very solidly made and it weighs a ton. I can sit on mine and I'm not a little boy anymore. I bought mine here in Australia and it came with a 450W Antec power supply, which ha...

opinion of Sonata II

I don't see what the hype is about. Front cover doesn't close correctly. PSU fails in a matter of days. Can't remove PSU without also removing motherboard. Duct just causes cpu to heat up 2c more. The case is weak enough I feel I could crush it like a aluminum can. I'm afraid to lean on it with side...
