anyone know if u can mod an NSK2480 to fit normal ATX?
From the photos i've seen, it looks like the PSU can be raised , and a full size mobo can fit just underneath it.

Anyone using REAR exhaust fanhole as intake?!
Just wondering about this,
at work the generic/el cheapo cases we have have a horrible front intake (basically nothing)
Does/has anyone used the rear hole as an intake? Just wondering how effective it is.

WARNING: Samsung 2253 hums under low brightness settings.
Hi! i've had experience with 9 of these, 1 at home, 8 at work. When the brightness is set below around 87, the monitor hums, and it gets louder as you go lower. Just a quick warning to SPCR addicts just in case u wanted to get this monitor and turn its brightness down. And if you cant hear it, put y...

damn so i should keep my 430w? I think my 430 watt PSU is working harder than it should be, thats why my computers been louder ever since i upgraded it. I will, however do a test (just turning the PSU on) on the Zalman, and compare it to how the Seasonic is. Hoping maybe SPCR had a bad sample, becau...

Replacing FAN of zalman ZM600 with seasonic one ok?
Hi Just wondering if its a good idea to move my 430W seasonic fan to a 600W Zalman i'm getting. Reason i'm moving to the 600W is because its modular and my computer atm and I've had suggestions to, (lots of HD's, FANs, 8800GT, q6600.. etc). Also the 600W is second hand. The SPCR review of the zalman...

Ok, the caps arent touching the base of the plate. Also those square blocks (VRMS?) dont seem to have any conductive surface on top. And i even think that Gigabyte uses heatsinks on them. As i said there is a bit of clearance, a bit of clearance is better than none at all, even though its so thin. M...

OK! so for some reason i moved the front fan to the middle (So its quieter i hope) and I moved the blowhole fan to the REAR (because i think the blowhole makes more noise). However it wasn't such a good idea and i went back to the blowhole of course. Also note i got rid of the AC Accelero fan! hopin...

Yate loon 140mm fans on P180? any way to do it??
so they've become available in my country.
Just wondering if theres any methods or adapters i can use to utilize these fans in my P180 case.
Cant seem to find any adapters on ebay, so im not sure if they'll exist.
Anyone know if/when 140mm will ever become mainstream?

Fan controllers that can STOP the fan?
Hi
Sorry if this topic has been posted before. But I looked at some of the specs on the website i usually buy at and it usually doesnt state if the fan controller can stop the actual fan. Does anyone know which ones do?
thanks
Oh.. and damn those yate loon fan blades are sharp! it cut my skin. lol

Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme mounted horizontally?
Anyone have their TRUE mounted so that you can put the fan blowing upwards?
reason i ask is because i have a noctua NB cooler, and i can kill two birds with 1 stone this way.
Can i block the rear fanhole and just use the top as an exhaust?
Or is it not so effective?

Psu Problem with installing VISTA?
Hi Whenever i try to install Vista, it wont end up completing the install. The monitor would go straight to sleep mode and never wake up. When i reset, it says something like 'Vista did not complete previous install, please re-install from scratch.. Anyways I've searched online many times but people...

you can hear the drives humming, i think its because of the platters spinning.
yea there was an old thread on here about doing it, so i thought it was possible and i had to give it a try.
