Sandy Bridge Motherboard - low power for HTPC

I'm after a motherboard to run an HTPC. There will be a discreet graphics card on it (looks to be a passive cooled double slot one with a very slow 80mm fan attached). I'll be using a pentium G620, which is a low end Sandy Bridge CPU. I'm using a Silverstone Grandia case which I think can take an AT...

Anything above 50 I'm not comfortable with.

Yep, a sata power cable passthrough would be the best solution though.

I'll have a look at the Nexus thing. Thanks.

Hard Drive Coolers?

I've been looking at http://www.akasa.com.tw/akasa_english/spec_page/system_coolers/spec_ak_hd_bl.htm since my drives run a little hot in my case. They're in a Lian Li V2000B. But rather than in the standard racks (which have been removed to fit a radiator) they are in the 5 1/4 bays fitted with dec...

Retrofitting motherboards?

This is just an idea. Chances are very slim I'd ever do it. But out of curiousity I thought I'd ask. A reasonable amount of heat is generated on our motherboards by the PVM components. The mosfets, etc. Has anyone ever considered or tried retrofitting their motherboard and replacing individual mosfe...

Suggestions please? V2000B 5 drive silencing.

I'm using a Lian Li V2000B at the moment. I'm considering quite a wide upgrade (yet another one) and I'm on the silence trail. It's watercooled, and it's not exactly shy on power... An Opteron 185, BFG 8800 OC2 GTX, 2 GB of Mushkin Redline, a 150GB Raptor, 4 Hitachi 7K250s. I realise that the latest...

Just wanted to say thanks for the review here. PSU reviews are seldom any good. SPCRs are first class.

Bought the PSU, and it's exactly as the review says.

Now, let's hope with as many units selling as there are, that Corsair will start selling additional cables for it.
