I googled information about NSK1480, strange that it has disappeared and out of stock everywhere... and yes, it uses low pci so upgrading in the future gets hard. I'm no expert on home servers, but you should probably reconsider buying an ATX motherboard and a Micro-ATX only case.

And if you aren't doing any heavy work, like video decoding, why don't you downgrade the CPU to a 45W (or even 35W) Athlon X2?
It would run much cooler and with lower powerdraw.

I have an NSK 2400 myself and looking for a new CPU cooler. I've got my eyes on the Scythe Mini Ninja, but I'm waiting for some reviews to start appearing before buying.
