I dont think its just a flipped PSU, because if you look at the review SPCR did, there is A LOT more distance between the PSU and the first SATA power connector than just 1 or 2 inches. If i were you i'd contact Antec and RMA it for something that is actually usefull. A 2 inch power connector is us...

The plugs close to the PS would not reach the power connectors on my DVD drive or hard drive in the upper chamber. They were just a fraction of an inch too short. The connectors were less than 3 inches from the PSU? A hard drive and ODD in the top chamber would be only a few inches from the back of...

I just got an NSK3480, my first case. I had one problem with it. Mine apparently came with the PSU apparently "flipped" in comparison to the reviews. The cables come out the left side when you're looking at the front of the case, close to the hole that the cables go through down into the case. I had...

Please help w/ NSK3480 build - routing SATA pwr cables

I'm building a system in an NSK3480 right now. I'm trying to put an SATA hard drive and an SATA DVD drive in the upper chamber. There are two SATA power cables, with 2 connectors each. One is very close to where the cable goes into the power supply, and the other is of course at the end of the cable...

How do I get surround sound when I only see stereo jacks?

I'm building my first computer, using an Intel DG31PR mATX mobo. Like many others, this one says it has surround sound. The only this is, I don't see any connectors for it. So, how am I supposed to get the surround sound? There are normal stereo minijack inputs and outputs on the back. (3 of them: l...

You could probably do a 65w core 2 duo and something like a 9600gt video card. Actually that's pretty much what I was going to do, an E7200 45-nm C2D and an 8600GT. I returned it already though; for one thing, it was a little bigger on my desk than I would like. I'm not sure if I'm going to get the...

The 1380 is difficult to make quiet. Its really only effective with an external AC/DC converter with an internal DC/DC board like the Pico PSU. With the proper modifications though it can be a very quiet enclosure. But thats if you A. Know how to modify it properly, and B. Want to spend the time/mo...

Which do you guys think is better, the NSK1380 or NSK3480? I was thinking of a micro-tower, but there don't seem to be many good ones around, so I got the NSK1380. But now I see I can get a 3480 locally for around the same price, so I could return the NSK1380. Is one better than the other? I think t...

Will the power supply be safe & reliable, though? I'm not an SPC enthusiast, I just come here for info sometimes on PC-building stuff. I saw this case for real cheap, so I'm wondering if it's junk. I'm just trying to build a basic home computer for cheap. Reliability is the top priority, although ha...

Foxconn cases any good?

Are Foxconn cases (and the associated PSU) decent? I just spotted this TV-544-A300 for only $35 after rebate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811153037 I'm not looking for something silent, just something that's reasonably quiet, say quieter than my eMac. Are there any other ch...

Hey, what is the purpose of this PC? You might want to take a look at integrated graphics motherboards if this is not an HTPC and/or will never run 3D games. It's a general-purpose PC. It's going to be a Hackintosh. From what I've read, there aren't many integrated graphics sets that work well with...

Building a quiet system in an NSK1380 - which video card?

I'm building a system that I want to be quiet. It doesn't have to be completely silent, but I'd like it to be quieter than my eMac. I'm planning on using an Antec NSK1380 case. The system will have a Core 2 Duo processor and a Spinpoint drive. Also, I'm told the case comes with a slot cooler which m...

I asked a question about the Aria that didn't get answered. Could I run a Core 2 Duo system in an Aria? Antec Aria w/ Core 2 Duo?

I have an opportunity to get an Antec Aria case. I was going to use it for a system with a 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor. It would have 2 hard drives: a Spinpoint 500GB, and a 320GB WD Caviar IDE for backup. I haven't decided on graphics yet, probably either an nVidia geforce 8400gs or 8600gt. I'm no...

It's not Newegg - unless they had their email database stolen. It's more likely to be a friend's infected PC. None of my friends have this email address (and i use Macs if that's relevant). Your capacity range 360-400 only contains one capacity point: 400GB. Nearest other capacity point (slightly out of range of your preference) are: 320GB and 500GB.
