Good day,
If you are using a X58 MB you may wish to reconsider your memory choice. I think you would like triple channel memory, not dual.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I have been giving a rear shroud some thought. I have a LL PC-S80 that has a rear shroud, dampened a bit, and faces down. I would agree with the above and add.... In this case (case) the rear shroud was a mistake. It is aimed down, thus dumping the hot or warm a...

Thanks
Thanks Conroy, I may be a bit early, but I am really stuck on the MB, CPU, and RAM. I don't think i need a Quad core for my uses, but the recent issues with the temp on the E8400 had me annoyed since I was really looking hard at that chip. I also had not notice the P45 under development I will have ...

New build assistance - multi use family PC
Good day - I am requesting assistance picking parts. I will be building a new system sometime in the next 6 to 9 months. I know this is a lot of lead time but I would like to get it right. I could be convinced to wait for Nehalem if it made a large difference. I am interested in (listed in priority ...

Noctua in Lian Li PC-S80
Hello, After buying a Lian Li PC-S80 case (against SPCR advice, I just liked the last Lian Li I owned) I wanted to quiet it down as far as possible and gain cooler temps. It has a restrictive airflow from two side vents near the back (right and left) that pass the air through a narrow channel betwee...

Case Fans
I would reccomend you adopt a wait and see attitude about the case fans. Perhaps you can replace them one by one or you may find that it is ok without replacement. I do think that case comes with fans. Read the review on this website. P182 owners correct me if I have gone astray. Have fun with your ...

LL PC-S80
Bent, I too am a fan LL cases. I have had a 60 for many years and have built 3 systems in it. My enjoyment of that case drove me to look for a LL case that had larger (120 mm) fans for additional cooling. However I also wanted it to be quiet. Since I am running an ASUS A8N32 Dx with a heatpipe syste...

Think about changing HSF
Hi,
You may already have modified your list, but.... I have the Zal 9500 and am unhappy about it. Loud as sin. Consider the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme or something that you can manage the Fan choice yourself.
Have fun!
