I'll stick with my Noctuas thank you very much. They are the quietest at low speed for the most air moved I've found. Too bad they aren't PWM.

I have the coolance parts in hand now and it looks like the PetraTech supplied radiator will fit along with the 3 Noctua fans. Now I need to find a metal shear or nibbler to remove the ce...

Maybe I'm strange, but I took a piece of clear plastic sheet about 1/8" thick, cut to size, and used the fan retaining screws to hold it in place INSIDE the case. Then I put the vent cover thingy back on. Now I can look down inside and see my passive copper CPU heat sink and it looks cool :) But the...

Help me decide on an overpriced 8800 type VGA card :)

I continue to try to find a justification to experiement with water cooling using my P180B case. Current wishes involve a dual or quad Intel 6850 chip, a modified Reserator XT, and an as yet unspecified mother board and video card. Given that I'm thinking of water cooling, naturally I'm thinking of ...

What I've read is that early 182's shipped in 180 boxes, with black not gunmetal finish. I've seen the gunmetal version. I bought a "180" and mine has the 2 WC holes, the fan switches, and the better cable routing, so I believe this. On top of that I got a rebate deal on my 180 when I bought it, tho...

The 3 speed fans can only be considered quiet on their lowest setting, and I had to go to medium to get the temps down, so I swapped fans. It IS a heavy case, very well damped. Good amounts of room. For wire routing, keep in mind the case has a hole that comes right up from the PSU so you can use a ...

I'm running a Phantom 500 in a P180B case. It's VERY VERY tight, but it's entirely doable. Note that you can move the fan to the opposite side of the divider by unscrewing it from the bracket and direct mounting it to the divider with the same screws. Ultimately I went with a Noctua fan and got it i...

The thing that continues to baffle me is this: is there any difference between running RAID off a motherboard that supports it in t...
