It seems that everyone here keeps pushing pci-e. They are right in that it would be easier and probably better performance wise. To meet all your needs you should probably look at workstation graphics cards. You can get 4 outputs on a single card. They are not cheap. Typically they are great for 2-d...

Your processor is definitely fast enough. I'm running an AMD 4600+ on my server (2.4Ghz), and I'm able to stream HD content to 2 HTPC's at the same time plus still run a small family web server, torrents, and more on the computer at the same time. I'm not familiar with WHS; I'm running Linux. I'm us...

You need a deadening product to control vibrations/low freq. noise. You need an absorption material for the higher pitched sounds. For a deadening product, I recommend butyl rubber. That's what the better audio dampening products are like you'll see in the car audio store. It sound like you won't se...

No internal power supply The drives get power through the adapter that plugs into an extra molex connector. All parts are in...

I run similar stuff in my case (made by elemental design audio). I covered the entire inside in sheet butyl rubber to dampen vibration / low frequency noise. I covered that in Neoprene foam to absorb the midrange frequencies. It makes the inside of the case look very well finished too.
