I went ahead and got the 1000h, 160gb a while back. I agree that the keyboard is quiet, but there is a bit of noise, either from the fan or the hd, as you say. It can be slightly annoying when you're at home, and it's quiet, so of course I'd love to change whatever is noisy, but it still isn't so no...

Asus EEE & MSI Wind noises
I did a search, but couldn't find anything.. which I found a bit strange, so pardon me if it's there, but I didn't see it. I'm thinking of getting myself either an MSI Wind (80gb or 120gb, depending on whether there's a big noise difference) or an Asus EEE (901 or 1000(H/HD) again depending on noise...

Oh, didn't I say? If I get one, it'll probably be the passively cooled one from powercolor. This one . I would also kind of like a "confirmed" on the card's ability to have two screens with different desktops due to the previous experience I had with an ATI card... What you say about it exhausting t...

Ok, so then I'm leaning more towards the hd3800s, but since the difference between the 3850 and the 3870 is a mere $18, I'm leaning towards the 3870... unless there's some ubscure reason not to buy it? Also, the difference from the 3870 to the 8800gt is $44, but I don't know if that changes your vie...

Yeah, I didn't think the 8800 would be worth it for me. But what you're saying is that the 3850 (or I could go for the 3870 perhaps) would outperform the 8600 gt in any case, or, rather, I think that's what I've read somewhere... Oh, and.. I forgot to mention that by the looks of it, the passively c...

Passive cooling card and the Antec p182
Hi I'm planning on getting a new graphics card for my computer. The old one is a 6600LE which I think I've probably damaged at some point in time by it becoming overheated. At least it shows these weird groups of dots in a regular pattern all over the screen (irrespective of which monitor and resolu...
