Low power i3 2100 asus p8h67-m evo build
I have built this machine which is my HTPC as well holding all my data. I leave it on almost 24/7 so im looking to make it use less power. I have 8GB ram and 3 hard drives in it. I dont need much power, just enough for boxee or xbmc no gaming at all really. The bios has a bunch of options but i gues...

GPU on mainboard gets way too hot
I have a mainboard with a bad gpu that wouldnt display any video, i repaired the gpu and it now boots. However the heatsink on the gpu gets very hot at idle i would hate it imagine under stress.
Is there anyway to get it cooler?

i thought some of them were decent though just not the fanless version but i found this http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=719582&Sku=T13-200 so pretty much any heatsink that has a 120mm fan would work fine? just remove the fan? i have the ninja scythe 2 on my...

[Quieting] Elite 360 Case
I have an atx mobo with an amd athalon 64 x2 cpu with a thermaltake cpu fan which cost $9 and has a printed db of 18. I was hoping to locate a quiet cpu cooling solution perhaps something passive. I found this and thought it would work well without the fan http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_r...

Actually, it doesn't cool that much better due to a poor mounting system. See SPCRs Official Review . It's heavier and more expensive, but the performance isn't there compared to an HR-01 Plus. Ahh i hate you lol, i wanted that copper so bad. Guess ill have to wait for a review on the Ninja 2 hopef...

Antec Sonata III HSF Upgrade To Mini Ninja, Future Proof
I have a P4 478 in a sonata iii, i replaced the stock fan with a mini ninja due to the noise. Apparently now the ea 500 psu is the only thing making noise, is the psu supposed to be a tad bit noisy? Well i am using the ninja without the fan as the fan is extremely noisy, but besides that it provides...

Using a Sonata III with the stock antec tricool which is pretty much unoticeable at low speed setting even medium isnt noisy at all but high is definately LOUD. Right now im...

oh alright, i assumed the temps would fluctuate constantly the same way the cpu temps do the main reason why i was concerned it was incorrect was because of the burnt hdd i had, but maybe that was a bad hdd so apparently cooling is not the issue could my power supply be the issue as in the power flu...

alright, i used everest and the hdd were both at 34c tried scandisk and defrag they both remained however the cpu temp would raise a few degrees the only thing i would think is that im using an older mobo so i had to purchase a pci sata card in order to use 2x WD 500 which are both sata obviously an...
