Haven't tried it,.. but looks like what you want.
You can also look through hardware stores, home depot, etc for some rubber stripping and DIY.

Hope that helps!

To answer the original question,... NO antec tricool fans are not bad On this computer, I too have a Sonata III, 2 antec tricool fans - low setting, xigmatek S1283 with included pmw fan, earthwatts 500, a BFG 8800GT OC (stock cooling). The loudest thing is the 8800GT when system loads,... then the s...

Thanks for the reply, that confirms my feelings and thoughts,... which for various reasons have been muddied lately,... I think the slipstream 1200 models are my choice on this build. I had been considering those for the case fans,... they should be ideal with a controller. I see no reason for more ...

BFG 8800 OC single slot

Housed in Sonata III case. This is a fairly quiet card in general use, but really spins up during boot and takes a while to throttle back. This is the loudest part of my system by far when going through this,... after it settles down ~1min then it is bearable. I am looking at keeping the temps no mo...

Yes those are the thermalright hr-07 ram coolers,... and if you look closely there is 4 ram dimms installed,.... you order the hr-07 H version for the "top" dual channel and the hr-07 L for the "bottom" dual channel. The back plate that comes out from the bottom is the Thermalright IFX-10 or similar...

I won't have a lot of front cool air intake when all is said and done,... but I am a fan of the scythe fans! Well put this way,...(which does make specs irrelevant),... if I am not connecting these to the motherboard, but rather to a fan controller, or similar type of controllable resistive device, do fans have to have anything other than just a regular 3 pin connector (the power, ground and sensor -yellow)?

Fan Control Questions

Background: I am in the middle of building a system that is to be a nice compromise between power and silence. I have a question when it comes to fans and fan controllers. My motherboard will only control one fan (the cpu fan). I am trying to control 2 other fans so that occassionally I can crank it...
