The DD-24AX looks interesting - I like the idea of some regulation to protect my components! I am not 100% clear on the connectors on the board though. Bonestonne -- thanks for your advice! I hadn't heard of an RCA -> S-Video cable, but that sounds like it might be a good solution. I had a look at some Asus boards based on the 780G chipset, but unfortunately they only do VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. These are all great for monitors and flat pane...
