I thought you did a very good job with the review. Not exactly typical SPCR material, and I expected to see the usual silencer rig in there. Was it this forum that had someone who went and sketched an idea for a similarly rotated case a few months back? The issue with the adapters is the only proble...

Hudda you are aware that the large fan on the inside of the PSUs is an intake, right? it sucks air into the PSU. Same with 80mm PSUs, they take air from inside the case and expel it out the back. Be mindful of how much noise you make on this forum, I've had a few posters jump on me for daring to run...

The silliest part about the whole thing is the reds knew it was going to happen and set it up like a timed explosive to blow just after they lost power. Now they sit around saying the Democrats did all of it and our moronic population believes them. I sat there as it went down saying to friends/fami...

I don't believe the problem is with the tool, but rather with the culture. American pop culture is full of firearms being used for harmful purposes. 50 Cent brags about how many times he's been shot. All kinds of popular rap talks about Gats and countless other slang terms for guns, and foolish kids...

I will note that I included Cheney and his lawyer in parentheses. John Yoo stands out because he's the most obvious and assailable lapdog. Whether or not Bush puppeted for Cheney, his lawyer, Karl Rove and the "secret society" is pretty much irrelevant because as a former President he's virtually im...

The simple fact is a large large (majority?) of Americans are too stupid to care about the future. We really should take that defense budget and funnel it into education, because our economy is a service economy which revolves around *providing services others want*. As much as "Buy American" is pat...

Honestly, as much as I believe Bush (and Cheney/Addington? Paddington? his attack dog) did more damage to the country then had been managed since 1812, I do think he thought what he was doing was right. Just like the Canadian Greyhound murderer thought God told him to chop off the head of the dude l...

I've used multiple Asus and Gigabyte boards. Asus is more feature heavy, but all of my Asus boards have had a variety of minor failures (early SLI board lost the primary PCI-E, second lost a few USB and one of the network ports). My Gigabyte board is a tank and still runs to this day, many years aft...

Hey bud no need to get snarky on me. The noise was unexpected considering the reviews of the Modu said it was quite quiet. I'm happy though because my computer has stopped freezing every 30seconds or so. If you had to deal with that for 3 months you'd take a jet engine in your case too. If I had mon...

Oh I love it!

Weather trends do tell a lot about climate though, as Seattle rarely if ever gets snow or above 90, and Eastern WA ranges from sub zero to 110+. That's of course due to the Puget Sound, but it makes it very easy to spot freak occurrences (of which there have been many this year)

I think you all should lighten up and get outside a lot! You'd see reality with your eyes. We got snow this morning here in Eastern WA, US. It was a big time surprise, because for the last two days it's been pushing the 50s. For reference, two years ago it was 20-low 30s during february. Also, ask a...

Just hooked up a new Enermax Revolution!

Here's a small review. Variant is the 850W. 1. This thing is HEAVY. And massive. It's much bigger and heavier then my 900W OCZ that it replaced. 2. Cables galore, they're very long (I would say maybe 3-4" longer then the same on OCZ). All the SATA connecters are crimp type and removable making it a ...

I've been using Enermax for years. The PSU coming to replace my garbage OCZ unit (whaddayaknow, first non-Enermax I buy is bunk) is a revolution 850. I highly doubt you need 850W, I'd be inclined to get the Modu82 625W and be chill with that. I have nothing against Seasonic, I just love Enermax

I wouldn't say we rule. I would say we pull all the strings, like the man behind the curtain. Much better then ruling directly and having to deal with the discontent of the masses.

actually this would appear to show promise as a passive HS for non-i7 applications. If they can just price it lower then the TRUE, maybe in Xig territory, they could have a sleeper hit on their hands.

We're all nerds here. Good company. You at least have hopes and ambitions above and outside of the game, so I wouldn't say you were a MMO nerd. I refer to myself because at one point I logged 60+ hours a week in WoW.

You say that - do you have a high performance PC? I know I know you can't have your cake and eat it too - but you can. My box isn't silent, but it's nowhere near as loud as you seem to infer power builders deserve. As for builds that require Nehalem, I agree fully. The PC just doesn't benefit enough...

2x GTX285 on an i7 will draw a stratospheric amount of power. Probably in the 550-600W range at load, making the 850W pretty much ideal. I'm pulling 450W with 2xGTX260 on a Q6600, and the only reason I'm getting the 850 is they don't make a 750.

jamppa, from what little I know of Europe, "long distance" has a totally different meaning over there. get the low-power version of the Modu82. You don't need 625, for sure.

My guess is that rig may crest 300W at load - my SLI260 pulls around 450W.
