Hi, I agree that the ! button to report a problem post is the way to go. No it isn't. Make multiple users push that button and you have a long morning once you wake up. The feature must be implemented in a way other than a simple "hack", with proper database access and encryption code. Ideally, the...

You and other people in this thread have wasted no effort ripping into people who are too busy to appreciate music, who don't have the training or the ears to value audio quality, who could not care less if a perceived "warmth" comes from analogue data formats or a cheap EQ, and whose personal tast...

Ironically enough, you are more than content with the crap resolution and shitty compression of pictures of "babes" you post in a dedicated thread. You even go ahead and call images of which the largest resolution is 1710 pixels "high resolution". I'm not a photographer, just pick up good looking p...

Chances are the RESET_SW connector is acting like a prick, have you tried shorting the PWR_ON pins? Grab any unused IDE drive and take the jumper out, plug it in place of the PWR_ON connector. Also, I've read the picoPSU can be bitching around for no reason, try to power up the motherboard with any ...

I wonder what they'll think of next? How to make more useless comparisons? Look, I am fine with comparing analog previous generation equipment with modern digital equipment, but only when it's done professionally. Kick that boy off and have some professional tell the same story and there's no probl...

Lodehacker was refering to using a jumper on the pins where the power connector is supposed to go. No need for that though. What happens here is that the reset connector has the wrong label. In reality it`s the power switch, the only switch the psile has. So you can just plug it in and you`re ready...

Well, you can short the PWR_ON pins to see whether the PC starts up at all. You are correct though, the connector for this should be there, but your Nexus Psile lacks it. Also, just split the POWER LED connector with a pair of scissors or something (though don't do this if you can have the Psile cha...

Hi, You can go all passive if you like, but your case must have excellent air circulation and great airflow to provide adequate cooling for the graphics card. Hi Jules, Yes the aluminium construction is very solid. Also, the intake fan is huge (140mm) allowing for more air to be pushed at lower speeds; a perfect and important aspect for quiet computing. Here's a review of the case: http://www.ultimatepc-reviews.co.uk/PDF%20REVIEWS/LianLiV2110-UltimatePCRe...

I have a question; if swapping the fan of a PSU, must the fan accept voltage from the PSU fan header, or can I route a 3-pin connector to my motherboard giving the fan its required voltage? Also, how can I know that the PSU is adequately cooled with a swapped fan, if the fan takes power through the ...

Let me say it straight: the V2110 is very easy to work with. Not only is it quiet, but it is easy to transport as well. On top of this the HDD mounting system is extremely secure and reduces vibrations to some point, but is still more bullet proof than HDD suspension. The case has plenty room inside...

Bosch is excellent quality. My 20-year-old sister had her kitchen renovated a couple of months ago and the end result is beautiful. Would a Nexus fan provide sufficient airflow (with PSU fan header) if the intake is ducted to fresh air via a 5" drive bay? SPCR's 80mm fan roundup shows it as only ~2 CFM behind the Scythe Kama Flex/Flow at the same voltage. Specifically, I have the Earthwatts 380. I take it that the 380 is identi...

Re: Rule 911 in life: Don't call cassette the grandfather of
Compare a top of the line Walkman with a top of the line DAP with good sound quality, and I don't believe tape stands a chance, "warmth" or not. Of course, you give a free choice for a digital audio player, but limit the choice of the analog counterpart to Walkmen . Class-A analog high end equipmen...
