My previous message was regarding the 80mm fan choice. As for the 120mm, Noctua NF-P12 its not made to be a case fan, it is made for heatsinks and psu's or when you need static pressure (google it at the official noctua site and on reviews). In a nutshell, you made a good choice as far for value, AC...

I think you're better of with noctua. It's top quality and you know they're good. Since it's for your CPU make sure your MB has 3pin DC control for 3-pin fans. I had my system all on Arctic Cooling PWM fans, they're not noisy but don't have the airflow that better fans have, such as Noctua. My opini...

1x120mm vs 2x92mm

What do you think will blow more air at the same rpm, 1x120mm or 2x92mm?
I'm thinking of changing my intake 2x92mm noctuas for 1x120mm noctua with some adapting and cutting.

Here are some pics of what my bios settings show (not my pc though, but its exacly the same) http://www.overclock3d.net/gfx/articles/2007/12/0...

Noctua always on full speed... can q-fan control it?

Hi, - I recently bought a Noctua nf-p12 for xigmatek s1283 and it's running on full speed all the time. - I previously had scythe kama pwm with 4 pins conected so it work properly. - I want the fan to be controlled automaticly so I can have air flow when I'm pushing the CPU. (got used to pwm fans) M...
