.. as promised the image of the homemade silencer.. I removed the "the metal bars" on the sides.. I wanted to use them for the cooling, but the vibrations get much higher again, because the "touched" the 5.25" slot sides. Without it the max temp I got so far is 36C... I left 3cm space under the driv...

A Spinpoint F1 in a Drive-a-Way is unstoppable for airborne and seek, that's from personal experience. The vibrations are basically transferred directly though, and F1s vibrate a lot.
