I got it, down from $80AU to $60AU because the seller realized some scratches on the side pannel, no big deal for me. I am however a little curious about how to configure the fans, should I take out lower chamber fan and have just HDD and PSU in there or I should keep the lower chamber fan? Or I sho...

Should I get an Antec p180?
Hey guys, I have recently come across a chance to get a original p180(without the holes on the mobo tray) for $80AU and I am tempted, mainly because new p183 is $240AU and second hand p182 is not avalible in my state, (Brisbane) a p182 + shipping will bring the price close to $200AU. My question is,...

I must applogize I didn't make myself clear enough. The HDD without intake peaks at 50, and with intake fan it peaks just below 40, therefore I think it's kinda necessary to leave it there. I'll try to uses fanmate 2 to see if I can slow the fan any further though. combining from opinions from you g...

have you modded the case panels with with any material? mass loading or sound absorbing foam? etc. will the motherboard control the cpu fan, so you don't have to use the ulna on it? Haven't done that, acoustic foams are actually bit hard to get in Brisbane Australia, but I have thought about it. Ho...

Final touch to a quiet system
Hi guys, After a long time of research and money I have managed to quieten all moving components in my system. I would like some advice as a final touch to make the system very quiet, and hopefully doesn't need too much money too. Spec. Case: Cooler Master Elite 335 (the weakest link I guess) http:/...

Seasonic M12II 500W candidate for fan swap?
Hi guys,
I have a Seasonic M12II 500W, and have recently come to mind to replace its fan with a Noctua P12
Is this a good move? as far as I know the existing M12II is quiet already.
Cheers

Noctua S12B vs P12 Fans
Hi Guys, I currently have. Noctua NH-C12 CPU cooler, 2 x Noctua P12 Fans for intake/output. I like to get some advise if the S12B are better for case fan or the P12. I am thinking of buying the S12Bs for intake/output, and use the existing P12s for PSU fan swap and Accelero S1 (which I am waiting fo...

I've got the Zalman GV1000 (which is virtually identical to the VF1000) and the fan is still the loudest part of my gaming system even at 5V. I wouldn't recommend it. I guess that leaves that one out then, I might choose a heat sink and add a Noctua P12 or S12 on it. I don't trust those Arctic Cool...

I have further identified the VGA as the biggest noise generator now...I think the PSU generate some noise while under load, but I don't think it can get much quieter then that cause its rated 8 in the SPCR recommandations. (and the best avalible in Australia) Now I have to do something about the VG...
