@mark19891989 I think you could fit one 3.6" HDD in this enclosure, 2 would be pushing it and not a lot of room for airflow. It's too bad you could not switch to 2.5" HDDs since they are so rugged, quiet, use less wattage, and don't throw a lot of heat. I understand you want to just transfer those ...

Looks nice :)

If it was my case i would want it about half the hight , wth 2 120mm fans on the front, my wood work skills suck, so it would be better to see if i could find a big project box.

how much noise does the EW 380 make at <100w load? Can't speak to 100W, but I have the EA-380 sitting on top of my microATX case, on the table top 3-feet from my ear. I'm looking at the fan spin and I can hear nothing . That's probably 40W, I'm sure if I got to 380W it'd sing, but I'll never get th...

Re: what component can i change in my build to reduce power

mfeller: Only need 2 SATA drives or are looking at a PCI controller, I would check out the D945GSEJT. It is on the 945GSE chipset, which is what they put in netbooks, instead of the 945GC chipset which most Atom motherboards use (and which is a power hog in comparison). My D945GSEJT idles under 10W...

does it have to be completly fanless, a slow spining 120mm fan, at say 500rpm will be silent. and make a huge difference in temperatures.
