Re: SilverStone Temjin TJ08-E: MicroATX Evolved

Looking at the specs and dimensions it seems like it should be possible to mount a Corsair H80 or one of it's smaller siblings in this case. Any chance someone tried? Perhaps SPCR can try it if you still have the case and a watercooling kit lying around? The H80 fits but tight fit whilst the H60 fi...

Re: Lian Li PC-Q08 Mini-ITX Mini Tower Case

I have built a I5 750 system with a GTX460 video card as follows What a beautiful build !! Very very thoroughly done and well planned, I'd say - I particularly like what you did with the 2,5" HDDs and the cage. Not to mention all the dampening. Have you tried any other 14 cm fans other than Noctua?...

Re: Any Fractal Design Define R3 owners?

I bought the R3 last month but never thought to state as much on this thread . That you did reply is greatly appreciated though. I'm still thinking I'll be cutting it close for space as I'm planning on installing a TRUE 120 rev.C as the CPU cooler, and that is 160mm high. Plus a total of 5mm ...

Re: Any Fractal Design Define R3 owners?

Case Steel thickness 0.84mm(approx)
Dampening material 2.8 mm (approx)
I used a dial micrometer on the Steel case and a Vernier Calliper on the dampening material.

Total thickness would be the sum of the above i.e. approx 3.6 mm to 1 decimal place

Re: Silent Gaming System Build Guide

would you expect a Thermalright ty-140 to be much quieter than a Noctua NF-P14 FLX 140mm Fan? It just depends of your needs: http://www.xbitlabs.com/images/coolers/140mm-fan-roundup/61_noct_diagr_big%28xbt%29.png http://www.xbitlabs.com/images/coolers/140mm-fan-roundup/96_tr-ty_diagr_big%28xbt%29.p...

Re: Silent Gaming System Build Guide

Interesting article. I have built a similar system with a I5 750 system and a GTX460 video card However I used the Lian-Li PC-Q08 This is a general purpose desktop including Gaming. Although the machine is subjectively 'quiet' it will not be as quiet as yours. ;-) you have one big advantage, in tha...

Re: Thank you for the review.

It looks like a nightmare for getting a large heatsink'd mobo in- I wonder why Antec didn't ditch the steel division plate between the two chambers? Hi I am new but thought I would make a comment re: CPU Coolers I have built a moderately powerful and 'reasonably' quiet multipurpose computer using t...

I am very impressed with the ease of install for this Cooler. I have it currently in an Antec P180 mini case. Installed the MB and attached the Cooler last.
