Re: Mini-ITX M/B with Advanced Fan Control Advice

What is FanMate? I don't see it in the BIOS. In fact on some of the Asus boards there is totally stupid range in which you can regulate the fans. If FanMate is supposed to be an Asus software tool it's completely useless. No single software package from Asus would install for me in Windows 8 saying ...

Re: Seasonic X-400 Fanless PSU

Sesasonic has sent me some pictures of PSUs mounted in some random cases. Actually two look much like Coolermaster. That's all I got from them. An inexpensive case compatible with this PSU is Coolermaster Elite 370. I mounted the board in one and have lots of free space there. As it is full ATX case...

Re: Mini-ITX M/B with Advanced Fan Control Advice

I would stay away from asus when it comes to quiet sytems unless you want to use extra fan regulator. Comparing Asus e-350/e-450 based boards DH61AG the Intel board is way quieter with the same fans. I don't know if it has some knobs for regulation because it just worked. It is running the fans but ...

Asus E45M1-I Deluxe E-450 APU based mini-ITX board - bad

I am running this board for a while now and it's reasonably stable for desktop use. Video playback is possible with some hiccups. With some tuning it could perhaps work reasonably. The board does not work without a fan in spite of the massive cooler mounted on it. There are two 'regulated' fan conne...

Re: Seasonic X-400 Fanless PSU

Unlike the X-400FL on the review photos the P-400 does not come with dual mounting holes. Interesting observation. Just checked the SPCR review of the 520W Platinum model (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article1313-page1.html) and it also appears to have only one set of mounting holes. Can't see any...

Re: Seasonic X-400 Fanless PSU

Hello, the new PSUs dubbed P-400FL or SS-400FL2 do replace the X-400FL and go fanless up to 520W due to higher efficiency. I ordered one and I am disappointed. Unlike the X-400FL on the review photos the P-400 does not come with dual mounting holes. It comes with the same warning paper that you shou...

Re: Pegatron IPX7A-ION330

The most serious problem is lack of support. Logic Supply should be providing you with support. Have you tried contacting them about these issues? Given that the Zotac IONITX-F-E is due out in a couple of weeks, I can't say that I'd recommend this board right now, either. But the problems you're re...

Re: Pegatron IPX7A-ION330

I don't recommend this board. The problem with the hardware is cooling. I installed WinXP and tried some 3D mark old enough to still run on XP and the graphics won't heat too much. It was slightly over 60°C, and the graphics cooler is quite large with sockets for fan screws. The problem is with the...
