Grump: I've been watching this thread for some time now, probably because I have the Powercolor Go Green 5750 passive. Which is a great card however if you don't mind the noise I would go with a 5770. In any case, why don't you change out you computer case for one which can handle larger cards? Here...

Yes NCIX has it advertised the PowerColor Go! Green HD5750 1GB GDDR5 aka AX5750 1GBD5-NS3DH for $180, so I guess we can expect shipment shortly. I myself personally am trying to keep this card under wraps, because I wonder about the demand. To my knowledge it's the fastest card available with passiv...
