i have been trying to get hold of an hr-01 plus myself too and i cannot find one. contacted thermalright and they were clear that the product was NOT discontinued. i'm still amazed at the very low availability myself.

i was monitoring scan but the listing was removed!

shop has made my decision much easier. they only had the samsung in stock and looking at the bright side it was also much cheaper than the WD drive.

Corsair HX520 for Athlon XP

My Seasonic SS400FS seems to be dead. I wished to replace it with a corsair hx520w but it has no -5v.

Is the -5v essential for an Athlon XP 2800+ with an ASUS A7n8x-e deluxe?

Thanks

Original link and Translated link . wow $135 US  that's almost as expensive as the p150, which includes a power supply in fact the P150 is $1...

Re: "ANTEC Solo" Has any one Seen this??

Scrool down to the life style section of the antec 2006 catalog. From the picture, and comparing the specs this looks like a black P 150 http://syndicate.tentoe.com/__FileManager__/Org_100_41/992/2006.ProductCatalog.4.6.06.ED.web.pdf Wow! That's REALLY interesting right there. So if I'm reading thi...

Re: NeoHE and ASUS A8V

"The only incompatibility issue we have with our NeoHE is from ASUS A8N and P5 motherboards. Your motherboard should work fine with our power supply." I got the same answer from them along with a nice, "One thing you can try is to have everything installed or install additional fans in your case an...

i am very angry and disappointed right now with samsung and my one year old 1614c drive.

it has developed bad sectors lately and they are increasing by the minute.

very very disappointed and no matter how quiet they are, data integrity is always more important (to me at least).

i have a zippy keybaord and it buzzes to no end. in fact i find myself switching off the lights as i can't stand it.

i am now looking for a replacement. and my ideal would be the following:

1. slim like the zippy keybaord
2. wireless
3. possibly combined with a wireless optical mouse too

any ideas?

requesting a bios from asus i think (read sure) that will be in vain. nvidia system utility will only let you change fsb and mem timings, nothing more yet as asus still has to hook up all the option from the bios. after some reading on the nforcershq.com forums it seems that the only way possible to...

anyone could confirm this would do the trick with the super silencer too?

i guess it would be a problem when high ambient temp. are involved too but i might take the risk.

Inexplicable - why did you go with the super tornado instead of the super silencer? 120mm fan?

the problem is 'getting a perfectly working Super Silencer'. Is there anything that distinguishes the super silencer a2 from the rest [maybe something written on the package]?

Or better still a shop that still has the non-a2 super silencer. this might be asking too much i know.

thanks for your reply mike.

i won't be risking with the Seasonic Super Silencer 400 (SS-400AGX Active PFC) due to the revision a2 problems.

correct me if i'm wrong but the Seasonic SS-400FS APFC doesn't suffer from the same problem, does it?

in fact the first considerations are to stay alive....having said that, there is no aircondition in the small room. just a fan.

40-42 degress would be what the weather forecast says...being actually inside makes things a bit cooler.

i do have the same whine you have experienced...and i think it's coming from the PSU but I'm not sure.

And MikeC is right...it is not only IE but anything that scrolls.

Even when loading Splinter Cell I notice it. (no scrolling here - maybe high load??).
