No problem here with the SyncMaster PX2370 from Samsung :/
But had previously the SyncMaster T260HD, and it did have that problem but that was only when you where focusing on it.

I got the P183 with the hole for accessing the CPU backplate (one of the newer one i think?), anyway the problem with the static sound is also on the newest versions.
