the samsungs are supposedly faster but not that you can tell. My problem with samsung is that I bought 3 of these from New Egg. One failed and Samsung said it was OEM so no warranty. You would have to go through new egg for any kind of satisfaction which will not happen.

btw, before i bought the c300, i called them and the guy explained all yuor complaints on bricking should be in may/june. That they did fix the issue and any new drives have the necessary updates. My desktop has a couple sata 3 ports on it which the c300 should really fly with but OSX doesnt take ad...

I'm trying to think back on what kind of computer I had 10 years ago or even 5 years ago. 2 things here, most of us will have a different computer in 3-5 years anyway and 2, the price of these things by that time will be in the HD range right now. $50 a piece. So all your talking about here isnt war...
