Re: Help me to improve my case airflow and fans

You can slow the actual fans, with 7v adapter or profile, and add another fan with low RPM to help the airflow. Another option is swapping actual fans, choose 3 fans low noise/RPM.

Re: Accelero S1 and 5870 Crossfire?

My idea for future CF of 6870 with Accelero s1 is to put the fan before the GPU's, the same way that the front fan is used with the HDD's. A fan (or two) there should be enough to force the cold air over pipes, mems and VRM's. Something like this zip tied somewhere: Accelero_ S1_and_CF_SLI.jpg Sorry...

Re: Accelero S1 Rev.2 for HD6850/HD6870/5870

Almost forgot this thread :(. Three months ago i couldn't pass a DirectCU 6870 for 159€ :), for now I can live with the stock cooler, not silent but quiet enough for me, at idle the fan spins at 1350rpms, in games (Crysis 2) the fan rises to 1650rpm with less then 80º, thats better then the DirectCU...

Re: Suggestions for 120mm+ horizontal for accelero s1

I have a second hand Noctua NF-S12 800 RPM zip tied in a modest HD4830, no problems till now. I have a second S1 Rev2 in a XT6800 with turbo module and i think thats a cheap and easy solution. Probably i could use s1 in both cards without a fan, but i feel safer with a fan :). GT its a nice option i...

Re: Accelero S1 Rev.2 for HD6850/HD6870/5870

Thanks for the replies:) I really like Accelero S1 rev.2, just to go safe and cool I zip tied a low RPM noctua in my HD4830, even if I know it's not needed, even if my case have good airflow, I prefer to use a slow fan and see the low temps in my setup. I guess if an Accelero S1 can cool a HD6950 a ...

Accelero S1 Rev.2 for HD6850/HD6870/5870

Hi all, This is the first post of a long time lurker from Portugal, so much knowledge around that reading was enough till now :). I'm planning to upgrade my HD4830 and use the accelero S1 Rev.2 in my new GPU, but I have a few questions: -Is the Accelero S1 Rev.2 + Turbo modulo or NF-S12B ULN enough ...
