Re: Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra Tower Case - silent?
I tried to suspend my hdd and the result was good for already silent hdds and without any effect on "bad" hdd for which I found out the only viable solution are Scythe's Himuro HDD Cooler (with of course the use of the excellent hdsentienl ). Of course the good way to deal with my "bad" (noisy) hdds...

Re: Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra Tower Case - silent?
I am still on the search for a case which could help reduce noise of about 10 hdds and sofar the Cosmos II seems the best candidate... I wonder how well the coming 900d from Corsair will be in that aspect ?

Re: Silent-Server-Rack ?
I guess the good feature with such kind of rack are the two sound traps.
So my guess : it's much quieter than an ATX-PC.
There pdf has some nice explanation...
I wonder if someone has already build a PC using sound trap ?

Silent-Server-Rack ?
Hello,
what do you think of Keoda's Silent-Server-Rack ?
Would we gain in putting a "normal" PC in such a "noise catcher" box ?
Thank for any thought

Re: Seasonic X-400 Fanless PSU
I can't hear my caviar green drives
I have a power usage betweem 67W and 124W (before the PSU) so I should have taken a much "smaller" PSU but all is fine so.

Re: Seasonic X-400 Fanless PSU
400W is already a lot for my next build (i3770k with integrated HD4000, one DVD burner and 9 HDD).
Would it be fine to use this PSU and use it with 1 MOLEX->2 sata for the SATA I would miss on this PSU ?
I won't use the PCI-E output.
Thanks.

Re: Losing my hair
Maybe you could take a look at the Bitfenix Shinobi XL
The little brother (not XL) had really good review, specially for the absence of noise
I'm pretty sure your H100 will fit in it without problem.

Re: PC for the room ?
The height available below my desk is just a little bit more than 71cm which should be enough for a COSMOS II : tremendous. I think I will choose this one afterall :-) Case : http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6792 CoolerMaster Cosmos II Cooler : http://www.thermalright.com/products/...

Re: PC for the room ?
I didn't consider the Antec Solo (II) so I read some review and now I am
My actual P180 is much too noisy (mostly because one fan change) but I can certainly do something with a new Antec.
Thanks for the tips.

Re: PC for the room ?
Wouah :-) Thank you for the answer. One reason for my "choice" of the cosmos II is the SPCR review :-) Which seems to indicate it producing less noise than the others, and I enjoy it look. I'll certainly go for the HR-02 Macho as soon as my mb will be "out", which will be one 1155. In my country it ...

What about http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/pr ... dex=61&g=f ?
I think the X2000F from Lian Li is quiete expensive but I really like this one (only read reviews of it).
