If you only have ~100GB of data, get a SSD with 120GB or 180GB and an external 2.5" backup drive. Well you can upgrade the CPU, but that will cost you heat in exchange for the performance. At the cost of less heat, you can upgrade your hard drive to an SSD and get a lot more performance for little to no increase in heat.
