"However, I do currently have my D8000 case plugged into my USB 2.0 connector on my motherboard and it does work with my 1.0 devices." I want to plug in the connector to my MB (Intel D845PEBT2), But I want to make sure I have the right connection before I take the chance. On the schematics all the w...

Please forgive a newbie, it fits fine, it just looked so different since it didn't have the extra piece with the screws and since the edge on the intel board looked like it would have to hook up with something special. Thanks for all the usefull replies! Also, anyone know if the case is USB 2.0? Alo...

D8000 Rear panel problem, please help.
The rear l/O panel is incompatable with my motherboard (Intel) and the Intel one isn't compatable with the case. Anyone have a solution? Jim at Coolcases is great and he;s looking into it, but since he didn't know right away I thought he may have a problem figuring out a solution, so I'm asking here...

So, if the guy who's ram died of CIDS was grounded, how did he fry it? The fact that he may have left his contact with the case? So if he had used the strap he would have been fine? So, in general, what do you think is good protection? Just use the wrist strap connected to the chassis, but not plugg...

Problems w/ static discharge while building
I've done alot of research on ESD and there is alot of conflicting info out there. I always thought that wearing a wrist strap and hooking it to the PC case would be afford good protection. But what I've heard now is that the PS needs to be plugged in to a properly grounded outlet. This makes sense ...

Help w/ Video Card Fans
I'm going to get either a 9500 Pro or a 9700 non-pro. Either by ATI or Sapphire. It will probably be a Sapphire. But the new Sapphire boards are the black PCB units with a new fan/HS, not the ATI one. How loud do you guys think either of those would be? I know loud is subjective, so I'll say this: t...

I'm almost positive that the case inputs and wires must be at the 2.0 standard, or else case manufaturers wouldn't offer it as an upgrade/improvement. Unless you mean the actual inputs don't matter and just use the right wires from the headers to the inputs like Jim was suggesting it may just be a w...

Just to clear it up for Gildenman, that LX-6A19 is an OEM version of the Antec 3700, it just doesn't have the door basically. And if you go to coolcases.com it's the same as the D8000. By the way that's a great site, you can definitley get what you want there. And by the way I have alot of interest ...

I checked XPdirect and they sell the Sparkle version (350 W FSP350-60PN) is that the same as the Fortron and what would be the model number of that one. Directron also sells them, but they only have the 300w version with the 120fan. So, I'm a little confused with all the models and the two different...
